Job Summary
We are seeking a Pilates Instructor to join our successful gym. As a Pilates Instructor, you will plan and lead fitness classes, ensuring that people of all fitness levels are able to participate. Your goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives and have fun while doing it The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for fitness.
Responsibilities
Lead a wide variety of classes to fitness studio members and guests
Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe
Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of exercising and help them make good health decisions
Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking
Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required
Current Pilates, Physical Therapy, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness, Barre, Yoga or Dance Instructor
Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is helpful
First aid and CPR certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Expected salary: $15 - 40 per hour
