At Harvard Recreation, managed by HealthFitness, our personal trainers are true professionals. Their sole responsibility is to design customized workout programs and train our members based on their needs. In this role, you'll deliver 1-1, buddy, and group personal training and assist with our female focused training programs. You will provide detailed orientations that address the aerobic, strength and flexibility components of the exercise program, educate about the fundamentals of strength and aerobic training, and demonstrate the proper and safe use of equipment. You will also need to carry out administrative tasks that include but are not limited to client record keeping, scheduling sessions, inputting completed sessions for payroll, and attending monthly meetings. Other duties as needed/assigned. Flexible schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
What's Needed:
Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider and ideally 1+ year of personal training experience.
Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
Ideal candidates will also have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or related discipline.
