Remote Full-time
Job title: Infant Toddler Early Childhood Teacher
Company: Little Learners Lodge
Job description: Summary

Relationships matter most to us at Little Learners Lodge and Montessori of Mount Pleasant.

We are seeking team member to join our Zero-Three faculty as a respectful guide and support for young children and their families. If you love being with infants and toddlers and want to make this your profession- we would welcome the opportunity to support your career and continued development.

Little Learners Lodge is an intentionally small private preschool with a collaborative teaching team comprised of Pikler, RIE and Montessori certified mentors supporting the next generation of early childhood professionals. Founded in 1977, our center focuses on providing a demonstration site of best practices which also serves as a training and educational facility for teachers and parents. The Zero-Three community enjoys low ratios with a primary group of children who stay together with their Guide for two or more years. Faculty members are supported by experienced mentor teachers and parents as partners while caring for children using Magda Gerber's and Maria Montessori's respectful models of early childhood education.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with children arriving at 8:00am and departing by 3:00pm. Each day we gather together for communication, environment prep and design, and classroom planning. Starting salary is competitive and we are willing to train the right individual for long term growth. Benefits include paid holiday, up to 5 weeks accrued vacation, health care services, matching IRA, tuition reimbursement, free/reduced childcare, annual bonus, and a community which regards you and your work.

Qualified candidates must respect children as individuals and be willing to support their development holistically. This respect translates within the collaborative teaching team by a willingness take on additional tasks as needed to accomplish a shared goal and vision. Communication is essential in advocating for the children, supporting co-workers, and resourcing parents effectively. Faculty members are considered models to the children, parents and other providers in representing a peaceful and cohesive way of being together in a community.
