INDIANA UNIVERSITY JACOBS SCHOOL OF MUSIC

Title: Athletic Trainer; Academic Specialist

Position Summary: The Indiana University Jacobs School of Music seeks candidates for a faculty position as Athletic Trainer. This is a twelve-month, tenure-ineligible, renewable position at the rank of Academic Specialist.

Responsibilities include clinical athletic training work with ballet majors and other students in the Jacobs School, teaching coursework in conditioning and other health and wellness topics, and supervising graduate student athletic trainers working at the Jacobs School.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field. Master's degree preferred. Athletic trainer license. Experience working with performing artists in an educational setting.

Salary and Rank: Salary will be commensurate with experience. Rank is Academic Specialist.
