The Little Gym of Kansas City - Prairie Village is looking for an Assistant Program Director aka Chief Fun Officer to fill a mid-level leadership role on our team. We are looking for someone who can lead a group of little ones and parents in giggles, grins, and great memories.
Schedule & Pay
30-40 hours a week. Must be available afternoons and weekends.
$16-$19 hourly Based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Be the life of the party (or at least the class) every day
-Lead classes with energy, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of heart
-Teach gymnastics and dance skills with a focus on fun and safety
-Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for children and their families
-Inspire children to grow, learn, and develop confidence in themselves
-Be willing to sing, dance, and act silly on a regular basis (hey, it's part of the job)
-Help clean between classes and end of day to keep our gym shining bright and rid of germs
-Be prepared to be in a fast paced environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements:
-A love of children and a passion for teaching and growing with a community
-Experience in gymnastics, dance, or a related field is a plus, but not a must
-A sense of humor and a willingness to be silly
-A team player attitude and a desire to collaborate with others
-A flexible schedule (weekend and evening availability is a must)
