Senior Home Care Position - URGENTLY HIRING WEEKEND CAREGIVERS

Job Purpose:
Visiting Angels offers non-medical In-Home Care for our elder loved ones.
A Visiting Angels Caregivers' purpose is to provide assistance with daily activities, light housekeeping, errands, and meal management. We also provide protective oversight for our vulnerable clients, assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, and most importantly companionship for our dear clients. We do all of this to help our clients continue to live and age safely in their beloved home.
Pay $17.00 Per Hour - PRN & Part Time Shifts for weekends only in Grand Junction & Surrounding Areas
Visiting Angels Caregiver Benefits Include:
• Accrual Paid Time Off
• Sick Pay
• Regular Opportunities for Raises and/or Bonuses
• Paid in-service Trainings each year to further your Caregiver Career
• Paid New Hire Orientation
• Reimbursed Mileage to our remote client's homes
• New Hire Mentorship Program - New Hire Caregivers are assigned a Senior Mentor Caregiver in their area to provide support during the first weeks in the field

Job Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs but never more than 25 lbs
• Must have personal reliable transportation as well as up to date Auto Insurance
• Must have a smart phone with data plan
• Must Have a Valid Driver’s License
• Be comfortable with assisting in hygiene care
• Be comfortable assisting with the following or willing to learn how to:
• Cooking, Light Housekeeping, Menu Planning, Errands and Appointments, Fall Prevention, Transfers, Companionship and Assisting with all Activities of Daily Living
