Some content areas have curriculum and lesson plans will need to be reviewed and implemented. Art and Music will require lesson plans to be fully created. The facilitator will provide participants with a safe and enjoyable environment in which to learn arts and have fun. Modeling honest, positive behaviors and practices is necessary. Data must be collected on program impact. The facilitator must able to instruct youth of grades K-5 and plan age appropriate lessons for each age group. This position is a part-time employment. Qualifications Requirements: Minimum requirement of 90 credits of higher education plus 2-3 years previous experience in teaching youth. Should be self-motivated; exhibit strong initiative and time management skills as well as good organizational and interpersonal skills. The position requires the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment but also the ability to work independently. Knowledge of cultural flexibility, competency in working with multi-cultural participants and experience working with inner-city and un-churched youth is required. Must be a detail-oriented, logical thinker, who is a motivated self-starter and able to work independently on assigned projects. Must be able to adapt and change to meet the needs of the organization and the community. Must possess a valid driver's license.
