Job Overview We're seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to work in our Washington, DC location. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising approved products and packages at our customer retail locations. You will work independently with little daily supervision, using your critical thinking skills to ensure that our products are presented in a way that attracts consumers. Key Responsibilities: Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs Physically moves products from the backroom and places them on display Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelves where permitted Rotates products, fills and merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors, and checks vendors to ensure proper operation Organizes and maintains the backroom by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out-of-date products to the branch Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Valid in-state driver's license Excellent driving history Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage at no less than $50,000 per person/$100,000 accident insurance per occurrence/$50,000 property damage and $500 or less deductible effective from the first day of employment Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively) Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision Critical thinking skills Company-provided cell phone Preferred Qualifications: Prior customer service experience in a retail setting Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of customers What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a range of benefits and perks, including: Competitive hourly rate of $17.50 Opportunities for career growth and advancement Paid training and development programs Flexible scheduling with a 6am start time, weekends required, and 4 working days per week Chance to work independently with little daily supervision Our Benefits Package As a full-time teammate, you will also be eligible for: Paid Time Off plus paid holidays 401(k) with Company matching on a dollar-for-dollar basis Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Group Health Insurance – Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance Work Environment The work environment will vary, including but not limited to exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled.
