Skip the drama and do all your favorite parts of teaching We're seeking to hire experienced elementary and secondary teachers for part-time opportunities here at Made for Math. These are long-term positions for a growing company, we are not looking for contract or summer-only workers ABOUT: Made for Math? is an all-online math intervention service for families with students that are blessed with the gifts of dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and autism. We are dedicated to getting our students results and know that the work we do is life-changing for our students. You love to solve the puzzle of a student who doesn't learn like anyone else. You like the idea of learning new software, as well as jumping in and finding answers independently. You love to play with fidget toys and love teaching with pictures and games. When reading this list you thought of it as a checklist to cross off and that made you happy. Here is what your work will look like: Meet with students in 25 to 55-minute sessions weekly Work primarily in the afternoons and evenings with students Assess student's starting point using our game-centered assessment Curate lesson plans tailored to your students using our templates as starting points Email parents once a week to communicate progress Attend team meetings This is a W2 position. We will pay you as you train and learn our Multisensory Math ways Pay is $22.50 per hour. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or a Math-Related Field such as Engineering Good communication skills with parents Patient and can adjust to the mood of the student Able to teach in a fun and enthusiastic way Have at least 3+ years of teaching experience Must be able to work a minimum of 14 hours with students per week, (primarily Monday-Thursday between 2 PM - 10 PM Central Time) Plus 7 hours of lesson planning/admin time for an average of 21 hours per week (all paid) Although this is a remote, work-from-home job, we only hire in these states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Missouri, Montana, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming APPLICATION PROCESS: * online Initial VideoAsk interview Complete demo teaching task video and documents (approximately 30 minutes) Technology interview via Zoom DISC Assessment and Second Zoom interview Made for Math? is an equal opportunity employer.
