Job Summary We are looking for 24 experienced and dedicated Teacher Assistants to provide full-time support to lead teachers and students in a remote setting. As a Teacher Assistant, you will work 6.5 hours a day, assisting with instructional activities, monitoring student behavior, and performing various clerical duties. Key Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating instructional activities, and developing classroom procedures. Provide one-on-one support to students with academic and behavioral challenges, and lead small group activities as needed. Monitor student behavior, maintain discipline, and encourage self-esteem and independence. Assist with general housekeeping and clerical duties, such as preparing materials, maintaining records, and operating office equipment. Participate in staff development workshops and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment. Perform related tasks as required or directed by a supervisor. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred. 48 semester hours of college coursework or a silver score on Workkeys. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents. Strong organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills and ability to operate common office equipment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Teacher Assistant or in a related field. Knowledge of curriculum and instructional methods. Experience working with students with special needs. Certification or training in areas such as classroom management, behavior intervention, or academic support. Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
