Engagement Description
Individuals responsible for verifying and validating whether products or services meet specified requirements; involved in all phases of the QA process. They implement quality assurance objectives and processes, monitor, and evaluate testing results against the predetermined objectives, and apply recommended actions for improvements. Quality control activities may include functional and non-functional testing such as regression, system, integration, security, and performance testing. They interact with all members of the project team including architects, business analysts, systems analysts, and project managers. They also work with the development team to successfully integrate testing into each development phase. Other responsibilities include developing and executing formal test plans, writing, and executing test cases/scripts, and validating results. They define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. QA professionals communicate testing results and provide recommendations based on issues discovered. They also monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations on QA tasks within enterprise-wide processes such as change and release management.

The selected individual will lead, facilitate, and create overall project test strategy, track the testing progress, dependency, issues. The individual should schedule testing meetings and communicate the testing progress with all the testing partners.
ā¢ Creation of test cases, test scenarios and scripts in support of business functional requirements.
ā¢ Ensures test data is developed in a reusable state and is available.
ā¢ Designs, develops, and implements test data.
ā¢ Supporting IT leadership with issue, risk, and defect resolution/escalations as appropriate
ā¢ Ensures preparation and maintenance of quality check list
ā¢ Monitoring and supporting the adherence to the overall test strategy across programs.
ā¢ Reviews testing results with appropriate IT teams.
ā¢ Coordinates test execution across teams.
Required Skills/Experience
ā¢ Mandatory - Prior Healthcare Payer processing systems (Claims, Membership, Eligibility, etc.) testing experience.
ā¢ Mainframe hands on experience with TSO, SPUFI, QMF and IBM FM utilities.
ā¢ 5 years of IT and business experience, with 3 years in Quality Assurance.
ā¢ Experience developing and conducting test processes for multiple types of systems, client users and/or units across an organization.
ā¢ Demonstrated proficiency in Software Testing applications.
ā¢ In-depth knowledge of Software Development Methodology.
ā¢ Strong understanding of engineering and testing functions.
ā¢ Experience in testing large-scale enterprise products/applications.
ā¢ A high proficiency level in specific job-related skills is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience
ā¢ Minimum 5 years related experience preferred
