Urgent Hire - Sr Golang Developer (Remote – Occasionally Travel) – W2/1099 Join to apply for the role at JS Consulting. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Go-based services using Golang + Kafka, APIs, Anaplan, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite. Must hit the ground running with Go. • Deliver the first part of the project by December; project timeline is critical. • Build and deploy backend services with Kubernetes and containerized architecture. • Collaborate with a 6‑person team, involve mentoring for new team members, and coordinate across other engineering teams. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while ensuring scalability and performance. Qualifications • Strong backend development experience in Go. • Experience with deployment pipelines, continuous integration, and multi‑stakeholder environments. • Proficiency with Kubernetes and building API services. • Familiarity with distributed systems, Kafka, and event‑driven architecture. • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting. Desirable Skills • BS+ in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, service security, Swagger/OpenAPI, OAuth/JWT. • Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, Redis, Docker, and Unix/Linux tooling. • Experience building fault‑tolerant distributed microservices.
