**Job Description:**
As a Junior Flight Attendant, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers aboard United Airlines flights. This entry-level position is designed to help you learn the ropes through our extensive paid training program, equipping you with the skills needed to excel in the aviation industry.
**Responsibilities:**
– Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and United Airlines policies.
– Assist passengers with boarding, deboarding, and during the flight.
– Conduct safety checks and demonstrate safety procedures.
– Provide food and beverage service, and sell onboard products.
– Address passengers’ questions and concerns with professionalism.
– Maintain a clean cabin environment before, during, and after flights.
– Collaborate effectively with crew members and ground staff.
– Participate in regular training sessions and stay current with all emergency procedures and company policies.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 18 years.
– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to handle emergencies and stressful situations calmly.
– Willingness and ability to work in a confined space.
– Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
– Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
– Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
– Must pass a background check and drug screening.
– Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
**Educational Qualifications:**
– High School Diploma or GED required.
– Further certifications in hospitality, customer service, or safety are beneficial.
**Experience:**
– Experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory as full training will be provided.
