**Description:**
As a Junior Flight Attendant, you will represent United Airlines’ mission of connecting people and uniting the world. This role demands a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm for exceptional customer service. You’ll ensure passenger safety, comfort, and satisfaction, serving as an ambassador for the United brand. This position affords a unique work environment, with new challenges and experiences every day at 30,000 feet.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the cabin complies with safety regulations.
– Brief passengers on safety procedures and ensure all passengers are compliant.
– Provide exceptional customer service, which includes serving snacks and beverages and helping passengers with special needs.
– Manage in-flight sales and service delivery.
– Address and resolve any passenger concerns effectively.
– Assist in cleaning and resetting the cabin for flights as required.
– Participate in training sessions and stay updated with all company policies and regulations.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 18 years.
– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous.
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
– Flexibility in work hours, including weekends and holidays.
– Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
– Capable of lifting standard luggage weight and maneuvering in tight spaces.
– Must live within a reasonable distance or willing to relocate at own expense to assigned base location.
**Educational Qualifications:**
High School Diploma required. Degrees in Hospitality, Communication, or related fields are preferred.
**Experience:**
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided to all new hires.
