As a remote data analysis and AI solutions expert, you will develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and optimize operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement data-driven strategies to solve complex business problems using quantitative analysis, statistical models, and AI solutions. Identify, research, and tackle large-scale complex issues using big data, analytics, and machine learning principles. Apply business process understanding to identify and implement metrics, forecasting, and AI solutions that drive significant bottom-line contributions. Build and develop analytics, forecasting, and AI model applications, and provide client support using operations research data. Participate in model design, development, and testing for multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate with product delivery teams. Manage project scope, prioritize tasks, and communicate results to stakeholders. Develop and deliver presentations aligned with AI guidelines, and communicate insights to management and clients. Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific techniques and research in statistics, forecasting, AI, and analytics. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science. Coursework or work experience in statistics, forecasting, and machine learning. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, R, or Julia. Experience with data analysis and AI solutions, preferably in the aviation industry. Excellent business, technical, and communication skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications We welcome candidates with: A minor in computer science or formal advanced computer science coursework. Years of professional experience in a scientific field. Years of experience in the aviation industry. Knowledge of United Airlines' industry data sources. Experience with structured programming for large-scale computer models.
