**Description:**
As a United Airlines Flight Attendant, your core mission is to maintain the safety, security, and comfort of our passengers while delivering exceptional service. We are looking for individuals who can adapt to a dynamic working environment, react effectively under pressure, and possess a passionate commitment to customer service.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the cabin is fully prepared for flight
– Greet passengers, assist with seating, and offer guidance on storage of carry-ons
– Provide safety instructions and lead passengers in emergency procedures, when necessary
– Serve food, beverages, and attend to special requests and needs of passengers
– Deliver professional customer service and handle in-flight sales of food, duty-free items and other products
– Address any passengers’ concerns or issues effectively during the flight
– Collaborate with the flight deck crew and ground services to ensure a seamless travel experience
– Administer first aid to passengers or coordinate medical care if needed
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 21 years
– High school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications will be a plus
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
– Comfort with flying and flexible availability across nights, weekends, and holidays
– Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous
– Physical fitness, capable of meeting the demands of the job including handling emergencies and operating emergency exits and aircraft equipment
– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
**Educational Qualifications:**
– High School Diploma or equivalent required
– Higher education or certificates in hospitality, tourism, or related field preferred
**Experience:**
– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation is highly preferred but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided
