Responsibilities • Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business • Ability to work independently • Perform independent verification of insured's operations • Review and process change requests on in-force policies • Evaluate in-force policies at renewal • Develop relationships with agencies • Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes • Travel regularly to agency offices Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred) • Demonstrated ability to work in a service-centric environment, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders. • Candidates should have investigative skills and be comfortable using the Internet as a research tool • Strong communication and customer service skills • A team-oriented mindset • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment • Adaptability to change • Strong time management and attention to detail skills Nice-to-haves • Prior insurance related experience preferred.
