UKG Workforce Management Developer
Benefits: Competitive salary Location Remote (Must support and work Pacific Time Zone hours) Experience Level Mid–Senior Level (5+ years relevant experience) Role Overview The UKG Workforce Management (WFM) Report Developer is responsible for analyzing workforce management data and delivering accurate, actionable reporting and dashboards. This role focuses on backend data exploration, SQL-driven analysis, and visualization rather than front-end application development. The position supports workforce data initiatives by connecting UKG WFM or UKG Workforce Central (WFC) application data with underlying database structures and business reporting needs. Key Responsibilities WFM Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze UKG WFM or WFC data structures to identify, extract, and validate backend data Develop, customize, and maintain reports across workforce modules, including Timekeeping, Scheduling, Attendance, and Payroll Trace front-end application data back to underlying database tables and schemas Data Visualization & Insights Design and build dashboards using Looker or Looker Studio; Power BI or Tableau experience accepted Translate workforce data into clear, actionable insights for operational and business stakeholders Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and ongoing scalability Data Integration & Engineering Support Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics Support ETL processes and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation Work within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments to support analytics and reporting workflows Integrate data from multiple sources, including UKG platforms and cloud-based systems Collaboration & Delivery Partner with functional and business teams to gather reporting and data requirements Translate business questions into technical reporting solutions Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience with UKG Workforce Management (WFM) or UKG Workforce Central (WFC) Strong understanding of UKG backend data structures and data relationships Advanced SQL skills for complex data extraction, transformation, and validation 3+ years of experience in reporting and dashboard development Proven experience mapping front-end data elements to backend tables Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments Hands-on experience supporting ETL processes and data pipelines Preferred Qualifications Experience with Looker or Looker Studio Experience with Power BI or Tableau Prior configuration or advanced reporting within UKG platforms Experience supporting large-scale workforce or HR data environments Core Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to work across technical data, reporting, and functional domains Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Detail-oriented approach to data accuracy and validation Self-directed, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced, remote environment This is a remote position.
