UI Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a creative, skilled UI developer to design websites with functionality and aesthetics in mind. The UI developer will work with developers to ensure that the website is optimized for several devices and presented in an attractive way. To be successful as a UI developer you should have excellent knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, ES6, JQuery, and CSS3. In addition to this, you must work well in a team as there are several individuals involved in the development process. You should have: • Deep understanding of client-side development, and hand-coding in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript ES6 and jQuery. • Strong experience using a client-side MV* framework such as ReactJS. • Top-notch programming skills and writing code for robust software design. • Experience in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and website performance. • Knowledge of front-end CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, and Material UI. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. • Should have a working knowledge of using the latest development tools and techniques. • Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git). • Minimum 4+ years experience in UI development (Preferred). You will do: • Work alongside our lead developer. • Develop and expand features and products using a variety of programming languages. • The UI developer should be able to provide advanced-level software programming for technical projects. • The developer will be part of the team that creates the front end for critical technology areas of our high-traffic, consumer-facing. • Join a cross-functional software development team on highly visible strategic projects and work as an expert-level individual contributor to the assigned coding tasks. • Responsible for developing a new highly responsive, web-based user interface in a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture. • Work within an agile group to varying degrees to deliver solutions. • Produce well-designed, testable, efficient code on time to meet delivery timescales/milestones. • Interact closely with business and graphic designers to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. • Stays plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities. • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, effectively manage priorities and communicate progress. • Debug, test, and fix errors. • Document code development and revisions.
