As part of our centralized quality assurance team, this role will be responsible for performing coding quality assurance reviews for our Surgery coders. This will involve being responsible for understanding not only coding guidelines from CMS, AMA and AHA but will also be required to become familiar with client specific pathways in order to timely and accurately perform Surgery quality assurance reviews. This role will be required to perform in a fast-paced environment and be flexible enough to be able to work independently as well as very closely with other members of the QA team under specific targeted parameters.
This position is full-time, Monday Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 6:00am 6:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
