Tutors, Grades K-5, Math, Reading, ELA (Remote, Public School Support Program)

TPAPT is currently seeking remote tutors to join our team and provide academic support to local school programs in various K12 subjects. Tutors will have the opportunity to work with students in remote small group settings, helping them achieve their academic goals and giving them the tools they need to succeed. Think of this as a virtual study hall for students that may have a range of questions related to the subject. We are looking for tutors who are passionate about education, have excellent communication skills, and are able to adapt their teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student. Start date: Immediate Materials provided: Yes, iXL online curriculum Subject(s): ELA and Math grades 1 to 5 Hours: 10-15 hours per week during the day Classification: Employee Location: United States, Remote, Eastern Time Zone Responsibilities: • Conduct online instructional sessions for individuals or small groups using our curriculum • Create engaging and interactive lesson plans based on students' individual needs • Provide clear explanations and examples to help students understand difficult concepts • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback • Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions and student progress Requirements • Bachelor's degree • Teaching certification in Elementary Education, Early Childhood, or Special Education preferred • Experience tutoring or teaching K12 students, preferably in a remote setting • Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject matter being taught • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple students and assignments • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace Benefits • $15-$17/hr • Reliable weekly schedule • Training & curriculum provided • No marketing Apply tot his job
