TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, is seeking an experienced History Tutor to join the team. As a Tutor you will help students in grades 9-12 with homework, study skills, and test preparation. Primary Job Functions... ? Tutor middle school grades in math and ELA in a virtual one-on-one setting and small group ? Answer individual questions from drop-in students and teach middle school content as needed during Virtual Village, Enhanced Prep s free virtual homework help space ? Track student progress, assign homework and practice exams, and submit parent updates for one-on-one students ? Manage multiple student programs simultaneously, communicate with students, parents, and advisors, and lead student progress meetings ? Embrace a growth mindset and participate in ongoing professional development, as directed by tutor managers Responsibilities Provide remote tutoring sessions. Design and execute customized lesson plans for individual students. Administer practice exams and evaluate student progress. Collaborate with students' families to keep them apprised of student progress. Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress. Requirements ~? Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university ~? 3+ years of middle school tutoring and/or teaching experience (virtual, in-person, ~ individual, and/or group settings) ~? Comfort with tutoring English Language Learners and knowledge of how to support them ~? Technological proficiency with virtual instruction including, familiarity with Zoom, digital ~ annotation, Kami, Google Drive, and other online educational tools ~? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills ~? Ability to thrive in a virtual educational environment, including managing multiple student ~ programs simultaneously, communicating with managers, students, and parents ~? Be able to deliver high-quality, engaging virtual instruction ~? Strong time and project management skills ~? Passion for mentorship ~?
