Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small group academic support to high school students in math, science, social studies, and English Develop and implement innovative tutoring resources and curriculum materials to enhance student learning Monitor student progress and identify areas needing improvement Assist students with homework and prepare them for tests and exams Discuss students' challenges and develop strategies to overcome them Attend monthly grant team meetings to collaborate with colleagues and share best practices Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in a related field (education, teaching, or subject area expertise) Three years of experience working with students in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Fluent in Spanish or other languages Experience working with students of various ages and skill levels Additional graduate-level education in a related field Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Tutorial Assistant at Workwarp, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong subject matter expertise in math, science, social studies, and English Ability to develop innovative curriculum materials and tutoring resources Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
