Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for Tutor Volunteers at ELPS Foundation - Nonprofit. As a Tutor Volunteer, you will provide tutoring assistance in various subjects to students, develop personalized lesson plans, monitor student progress, offer support and motivation, and work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff. Your role will involve conducting virtual tutoring sessions through video calls and online platforms.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge in specific subject areas relevant to desired subject for tutoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and patience in working with diverse learners of varying skill levels
• Ability to work independently online and manage time effectively
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus
• This role is perfect for high school students looking to earn community service credit for graduation, college students, and/or retired professionals, but not limited.
• a tutoring certificate will be provided to all volunteers. (i.e. no pay check for this role)
