Compensation: $13.85 - $18.35/hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tutor to join our team at the Northwest Campus Learning Center. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in assisting students in developing comprehension in various subjects, improving study skills, and habits. Responsibilities:
Provide instructional tutoring and assistance with basic concepts, specific problems, homework, test preparation, and effective use of textbooks and instructional materials in virtual and in-person environments.
Help students develop effective study skills to increase their academic success and independence.
Offer encouragement and support to students in areas of self-confidence, study habits, and time management.
Report any problems or concerns with equipment or materials to the Learning Center Personnel.
Establish effective and cooperative relationships with diverse student and employee populations.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Proven classroom excellence (grade A or B) in the subject(s) to be tutored.
Written Faculty recommendation for the subject(s) to be tutored OR vetting of content knowledge.
Tutors must complete CRLA Level 1 certification within one year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Tutoring experience.
Comfort tutoring multiple subjects.
Physical Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require: talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Subjects Needed:
Engineering.
Mathematics (through Calculus).
Chemistry (through Organic).
Physics.
