As a Tutor, you will assist students individually and in small groups, helping them understand educational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is reliable, understanding, and has a passion for education! FOR THIS POSITION WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TUTOR WHO IS COMFORTABLE WITH MATH SPECIFICALLY UPPLER LEVEL MATH LIKE ALGEBRA, CALCULUS, GEOMETRY, ACT Math and ScienceETC. ACT experience is a plus as this tutor could also tutor in our ACT program as well. Responsibilities: • Help students to understand new concepts • Teacher Sylvan programs • Assist students in preparing for tests and completing assignments • Teach problem-solving skills Qualifications: • Previous experience as a Tutor is preferred • High school diploma/GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred • Patient, understanding, and reliable • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to pass a background check Expected salary: $15 - 20 per hour Location: Rosemount, MN Apply for the job now!
