Job description: Description of the role:Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tutor for English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs. The role involves providing one-on-one tutoring sessions to students of various ages and proficiency levels in Carlsbad, California.Responsibilities:
Developing personalized lesson plans based on student's needs and goals.
Using online auditory tools and apps to help students hear the English language and practice speaking.
Evaluating students' progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their language proficiency.
Communicating with students' parents/guardians to discuss progress and address concerns.
Requirements:
Experience teaching ESL/ESOL to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
Strong knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation rules in English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each student.
