Job title: Traveling, Housing Administrator Company: HumanGood Community Support Center Job description: Under general direction, the Administrator administers directives set forth by the Board of Directors, Property Supervisor and Vice President of Operations; conducts the affairs of the local home in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, laws and ordinances. Manages and controls the functions of all departments of the retirement community to provide quality services within budgetary boundaries. This position will travel to communities throughout Affordable Housing portfolio. Pay rate for this position is $70,000-75,000 annually depending on experience. $1500 sign on bonus! TRAVEL 50% of JOB Work Duties • Traveling administrator will be responsible for covering at communities where Housing Administrator support is needed and or were project support is needed • Coordinates the operations and delivery of services; prepares, plans and executes the policies for the services offered; • Supervises department heads, including instructing, assigning and reviewing work, planning, maintaining standards, coordination activities, allocating personnel, acting on employee problems, selecting new team members, and recommending/approving transfers/promotions, discipline, termination, and salary increases; promotes staff development and motivation; oversees a program for orientation and training for all employees; writes performance appraisals; process payroll, interprets personnel policies and practices; • Monitors the financial condition of the community; estimates present and future financial needs; monitors, prepares, and administers financial analysis, budgets, and cash management; • Participates in area and state association meetings, committees, etc; • Prepares and presents regular reports to the Board of Directors; • Devises plans for disaster and emergency response; • Responsible for the preparation of estimated annual budgets; • Responsible for the operations, programs and problems, and resources available to resolve Home problems; MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education – • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a major in one of the professional disciplines concerned with service to people such as social work, business or public administration or a related field. Experience/Training – • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager for affordable housing community; • Membership and active participation in professional and community service organization is very helpful; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – • Requires possession of a Class C California Drivers’ License What's in it for you?
