Position Overview As a Travel Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, handling incoming requests via multiple channels, including phone, email, and other communication platforms. Your goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, exceed client expectations, and build strong relationships with clients through personalized communication and attentive follow-up. You'll have access to a wide range of travel options, including package deals, tours, event tickets, and more. Key Responsibilities: Handle incoming requests via multiple channels, including phone, email, and other communication platforms Provide exceptional customer service, exceed client expectations, and build strong relationships with clients Prepare, plan, and execute travel sales, including airline, car rental, cruises, hotels, and ticket/events Maintain relationships with travel partners and vendors Stay up-to-date on industry developments, travel regulations, and destination information Collect and enter data, maintain client files, and keep records of all customer bookings Complete required certification within a timely manner Work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment Flexibility to accommodate client schedules and time zone differences Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Reside in the United States Must have a smartphone with reliable internet access Laptop or desktop computer (highly recommended, but not required) with reliable internet access Acute attention to detail and ability to review your own work to ensure quality Excellent verbal and written communication skills Time management and organizational skills Motivation and self-discipline to work independently Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the travel industry or customer service Knowledge of travel industry software and systems Experience working in a remote team environment Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Travel Specialist, you'll need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
