Job Description First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health Level I for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Home Health Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/20/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home maternal health care services to postpartum mothers, newborns, and families. The RN will be responsible for assessing maternal and infant health, providing education on postpartum recovery and newborn care, and supporting families in the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-home visits to assess the health of postpartum mothers and newborns. Monitor vital signs, physical recovery, emotional well-being, and signs of complications in mothers. Evaluate newborn development, weight gain, feeding patterns, and overall health. Provide lactation support and breastfeeding education. Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, safety, and warning signs. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, pediatricians, and other care team members as needed. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient interactions in accordance with agency policy and regulatory guidelines. Offer emotional support and connect families with community resources or support services if needed. Respond to clinical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
