Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN Job – Salem, MA Soliant is hiring an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a travel assignment at a major hospital in Salem, MA. This role supports a busy 37-bed medical telemetry unit caring for complex cardiac and medical patients. Candidates must be confident reading telemetry strips and managing cardiac drips in a fast-paced environment. Assignment Details: • 13-week travel contract • Schedule: 36 hours/week; rotating Days/Evenings/Nights + every other weekend • Rotations may include 7a–7p, 11a–11p, or 7p–7a as needed • Full-time schedule required • Floating required to appropriate units • Can start as soon as possible About the Unit: • 37-bed Medical Telemetry Unit • Patient mix includes CHF, Afib, PE, Pneumonia, NSTEMI, post-pacemaker, post-cardiac cath (with/without interventions) • Frequent cardiac drips: Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, Lasix, Heparin • Occasional surgical patients • Clinician-to-patient ratios: • Days/Evenings: 1:4 (max 5) • Nights: 1:5–6 • EPIC charting system Requirements: • 2+ years of M/S Tele experience • Able to interpret telemetry strips • Strong knowledge of cardiac drips; post-cath/pacemaker care helpful • Active BLS • Telemetry certification required • Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome Working with Soliant: As a Soliant traveler, you receive premium health insurance benefits, 24/7 support, and a dedicated team that ensures your assignment runs smoothly—and that your next assignment is lined up on time.
