WorldAtlas has been around since the early 90s, and it started as an online tool to get information on maps of the world, flags, and facts about different nations, since then we've expanded to an educational tool for students and adults as well as a source of entertainment. We have articles such as "The Difference Between Photosynthesis And Respiration In Plants" to "The Biggest Events In American History In The 21st Century," lots of maps and geographic locations.
What writing for World Atlas looks like:
You can write as many articles as you would like but the minimum requirement is 3 articles per pay period. We are very understanding of writers who need a transition period to reach this goal.

As a freelance writer, you will create original, informative and eye-catching articles for our audience.

• In addition, please include the topics you're most interested in writing about.
• **If you are applying for the history or economics writer position, you must have completed at least a bachelor's degree in history, economics, or such relevant field.
Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:
• Relevant experience in writing and editing - prior experience writing for an online or print publication is strongly preferred.
We pay a bonus on the gross profit of each article. Our base article fee is negotiable, but you need to prove you're not a junior writer and have proof of an ability to attract an audience.
