Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Travel Agent Assistant to join our dynamic team focusing on All-Inclusive Resorts, especially Sandals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel and possess strong communication, customer service and organization skills.

As a Travel Agent Assistant, you will be responsible for helping the travel agent assist more clients by answering inquiries, providing quotes and helping clients with any request or support they need.

Unlike most travel agent positions, we have leads that come in with great close rates, making it possible for you to quickly gain the experience and expertise to be a travel agent.

This job includes an hourly rate and commission.

Responsibilities
• Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and tours.
• Provide personalized travel recommendations based on clients' preferences and budgets.
• Stay updated on travel trends, destination information, and industry developments to offer the best advice to clients.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise before, during, or after their trips.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure the best rates and packages for clients.
• Process payments and manage bookings efficiently while ensuring accuracy in all transactions.

Skills
• Strong sales skills.
• Proficient in travel planning with a keen eye for detail to ensure all aspects of a trip are covered.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to create positive client interactions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple bookings and client requests simultaneously.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
