The Prince George’s County Planning Department of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is seeking a dynamic and motivated Transportation Planner II to join our planning team! This is an outstanding opportunity for the candidate with a background in long range and transportation master planning who also has experience with the development review process. The Department is responsible for and the selected candidate will assist with developing and implementing community plans, neighborhood revitalization programs, countywide planning (transportation master plans, transportation planning studies), and implementation programs in an urbanizing county adjacent to our nation’s capital. As the second most populous county in Maryland, Prince George’s has a population of approximately 900,000 residents and is home to The University of Maryland at College Park, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and Joint Base Andrews.
