Transportation Dispatcher - PM Hours (Remote Opportunity)

As a Transportation Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient communications and route assignments among our fleet of vehicles, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our students.

Job Goal: The primary goal of this position is to maintain efficient communications and route assignments among our fleet of vehicles, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Dispatch personnel and vehicles as prescribed by Supervisor
Serve as receptionist for the Transportation Office
Efficiently use Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, MS Word, and Excel
Assign students to appropriate vehicles and routes
Maintain and update student routing and attendance schedules using available technology
Calmly handle bus driver and parent/guardian concerns in a timely manner
Required Competencies:
Job Knowledge: Understands duties and responsibilities, has necessary job knowledge, and keeps job knowledge current
Productivity: Manages a fair workload, prioritizes tasks, and develops good work procedures
Quality: Is attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, and continuously monitors quality levels
Teamwork: Meets all team deadlines and responsibilities, listens to others, and values opinions
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Associates Degree preferred
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, MS Word, and Excel
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal skills
