About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Sales Engineer to cover the LOT Region, with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in Oil & Gas and Commercial & Industrial markets. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medium/high voltage electrical equipment, experience working with channel partners, and a demonstrated ability to grow assigned sales territories year-over-year.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a robust inquiry pipeline to drive future quote and booking activity
Prepare and deliver high-quality quotations to customers, working closely with application engineers
Achieve order bookings goals by monitoring outstanding quotes and taking necessary actions to enhance hit rates
Manage sales reps to ensure achievement of their sales goals and provide training and support as needed
Lead selling and negotiation activities for major opportunities and work with internal Project Managers to ensure open communication and timely resolution of issues
Define and maintain critical market intelligence and work with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering or a technical field
Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in Oil & Gas and Commercial & Industrial markets
Strong knowledge/experience with medium/high voltage electrical equipment
Experience working with channel partners and strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated track record of growing assigned sales territories year-over-year and ability to make cold calls
Ability to travel 40-50% of the time and legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Current residence within the states of Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas
