Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training & Curriculum Specialist NF4 to join our Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) team in Quantico, VA. As a Training & Curriculum Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing training and curriculum development for our Child and Youth Programs (CYP). Key Responsibilities:
Provide training to CYP professionals based on program needs
Develop and implement curriculum and age-appropriate activities
Coordinate with CYP Directors to establish training plans and schedules
Ensure CYP training opportunities include management, support, and direct care professionals
Execute the DoD Standardized Module Training Program
Prepare training status reports and recommendations
Develop programs that encourage and support continuing higher education
Participate in CYP Inclusion Action Team meetings
Maintain supporting documentation on participants with special needs
Requirements:
4-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Child/Youth Development or a related field
3 years of full-time experience working with children and/or youth
Knowledge of early childhood or youth education principles, concepts, and techniques
Knowledge of adult learning techniques and strategies
Ability to support DoD certification, accreditation, and staff credentialing
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
