Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Trademark & Copyright Litigation Partner to join our litigation team. This role is ideal for a senior attorney with deep experience in enforcement and litigation who is looking to operate at a high level while enjoying flexibility, meaningful client relationships, and real upside. The role is hybrid-remote, with the expectation that the candidate resides in the Greater New York Area and is available for occasional in-person meetings, court appearances, and team or client gatherings. Office space is available for those who prefer it, though there are no regular in-office requirements. This position offers the opportunity to both service the firm’s existing portfolio of high-value clients and, ideally, grow the practice through an existing or developing book of business. You will have the support, infrastructure, and brand of an established firm — without sacrificing independence. Key Responsibilities • Cease and desist strategy and enforcement, including drafting, responding, and advising clients on risk and resolution. • Lead and manage federal trademark and copyright litigation from inception through resolution. • Handle complex New York state intellectual property litigation. • Manage and litigate a full range of intellectual property matters, including Schedule A cases involving online marketplace infringement and counterfeit enforcement. • Serve as a trusted, client-facing advisor for sophisticated brand owners. • Mentor and support junior attorneys and team members, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented culture. • Operate effectively in a remote environment while maintaining responsiveness and availability for in-person needs. Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Admission to the New York State Bar. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in trademark and copyright litigation. • Prior experience in Big Law or a well-regarded IP boutique firm. • Demonstrated success handling complex, high-stakes IP litigation. • Strong command of federal and New York intellectual property law. • Excellent written, oral, and strategic communication skills. • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a modern law firm environment. • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
