Job description: Responsibilities
FULLY REMOTE POSITION
This position is responsible for all follow-up duties that appear on a daily worklist including investigating claims status with insurance carriers and correcting and resubmitting denied claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.
Hours: 7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday no weekends or holidays
Qualifications
Education Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
Experience Preferred:
• 1yr of experience in Insurance Follow up or a Similar Role Preferred
• Epic Experience Preferred
Experience Rrequired:
• Submitting appeals and reconsiderations on claim rejections, underpayments and denials required
• Knowledge of both Government and commercial insurance plans required
• Ability to review and Interpret EOB (Explination of Benefits) and reason (ANSI) Codes required
• Ability to use and understand insurance carrier websites required
The ideal candidate will posses:
