Top Node.js + Postgres Developer — Full Ownership, Solo Project Lead (No Agencies) - Contract to Hire

We’re building multiple U.S. travel-tech platforms and want a top Node.js/Postgres developer who owns projects independently. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, but if you can’t start full-time right away, we’re open to project-based or part-time work at first. Our team uses a “divide and conquer” approach—every developer leads their own modules, no endless group meetings, no hand-holding. If you’re the right fit, we want you on our team for as many hours as you can commit—up to full-time, ideally long-term. What You’ll Do: • Lead, architect, and launch features in Node.js (TypeScript), Postgres, and AWS • Design DB schemas, optimize queries, and deliver serious performance • Handle planning, coding, testing, deployment, iteration—total ownership • Work directly with senior leadership—skip the PMs, skip the middlemen • Write clean, documented code and communicate clearly Who You Are: • Proven solo project delivery (show your best work) • Deep Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres skills (no pretenders) • Prefer to work independently, own the outcome, and build things right • Startup or greenfield build experience a plus • Absolutely no agencies, teams, or PMs—independent developers only What’s In It For You: • Long-term, full-time role (flexible ramp-up possible) • Remote, set your own schedule • Full technical ownership—no bureaucracy • Major impact, direct access to leadership How to Apply: • Show your best solo Node.js/Postgres project (repo, code sample, or link) • Briefly explain how you’d build a scalable backend for a group booking platform • Not a solo dev?
