Position Overview

The Title Closer is responsible for coordinating and conducting real estate closings from preparation through execution. This role works closely with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents to ensure accurate documentation and a smooth closing process.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, client interaction, and being part of a company that is modernizing the title industry through technology and process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review closing packages for real estate transactions
  • Conduct in-person or remote real estate closings
  • Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to schedule closings
  • Review settlement statements and closing disclosures for accuracy
  • Ensure all closing documents are properly executed and notarized
  • Communicate with clients to explain documents and answer questions
  • Work with the title production team to ensure title requirements are cleared prior to closing
  • Maintain compliance with Missouri real estate closing regulations
  • Utilize modern title software and AI-assisted tools to improve workflow efficiency
  • Deliver a professional and positive closing experience for all parties involved


Qualifications

  • Experience in title, escrow, mortgage, or real estate closings preferred
  • Knowledge of settlement statements, title commitments, and closing documentation
  • Experience with Qualia preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
  • Notary Public (or willingness to obtain)


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working at a title company, real estate office, or mortgage company
  • Knowledge of Missouri title and escrow procedures
  • Experience managing multiple closing files simultaneously
