TimeSlips Specialist LA
We are looking for a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of legal billing processes, particularly for workers’ compensation defense cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in time entry and legal billing, along with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
• Enter and maintain accurate billing data using Timeslips software.
• Review and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors in billing documentation.
• Ensure timely and efficient processing of billing tasks in compliance with client requirements.
• Collaborate directly with the Billing Manager to finalize and upload invoices.
• Handle billing for workers’ compensation defense cases involving employers, insurers, and third-party administrators.
• Monitor and maintain detailed records of billing activities to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Provide ongoing support to streamline billing operations and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with team members to resolve billing-related issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client information.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal billing, with expertise in time entry systems.
• Proficiency in Timeslips software is required.
• Strong command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation for accurate documentation.
• High level of efficiency and attention to detail in handling billing tasks.
• Ability to work independently while being team-oriented and collaborative.
• Dependable and patient with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with workers’ compensation billing processes is a plus.
