Job Summary As a Threat Intelligence Analyst - SEAR, you will be responsible for analyzing cyber threats to our users' devices, identifying potential security risks, and driving security investigations and improvements in macOS. You will work closely with security engineers and researchers to quickly bring to market new security methods and technologies addressing the complex needs of Apple users. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of security researchers and analysts who work together and cross-functionally to inform efforts to solve security engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities Analyze cyber threats to Apple users' devices, including highly-complex threat actor campaigns, infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints Investigate macOS threat activity and identify potential security risks Drive security investigations and improvements in macOS, working closely with security engineers and researchers Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds and reports to inform security engineering decisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize threat intelligence into security engineering decisions Stay up-to-date with the latest threat intelligence and security research, and apply this knowledge to improve Apple's security posture Requirements Essential Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience in threat intelligence or security research Intellectually curious team player with a genuine passion for finding, understanding, and mitigating cyber threats against macOS In-depth understanding of the threat intelligence cycle and cyber operations Experience in analyzing highly-complex threat actor campaigns, including infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints Demonstrable experience investigating macOS threat activity Proven history of successfully working on solo and group projects in a virtual/remote environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Master's in a related field or equivalent years of industry-related experience Experience with threat intelligence tools and platforms, such as threat intelligence feeds, sandboxing, and malware analysis Knowledge of macOS security features and architecture Experience with security engineering and architecture Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Apple, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
