About the position

The Third Party/Vendor Management Senior Advisor at Cigna is responsible for overseeing supplier governance and contract management within IT infrastructure and telecommunications. This role requires strategic engagement with various levels of management to align supplier performance with Cigna's business objectives while mitigating risks. The advisor will facilitate partnerships across internal teams, manage key supplier relationships, and ensure adherence to service level agreements, ultimately driving improved quality and reduced costs in procurement processes.

Responsibilities
• Set and ensure adherence to a consistent governance process for IT Hardware, Software, and Services suppliers.

• Monitor overall performance of assigned suppliers against service level agreements and measurement criteria.

• Manage and communicate required information for supplier performance reviews on a regular basis.
,
• Conduct Enterprise Business Review sessions with business partners and suppliers to provide strategic guidance.
,
• Review and revise agreements with suppliers to optimize benefits and minimize risks.
,
• Support the delivery of a portfolio plan that drives business needs with improved quality and reduced costs.
,
• Deliver a reporting strategy for Third Party Management and Global Procurement to support management decision-making.
,
• Manage key supplier relationships using best practices in Global Procurement and Third Party Management.
,
• Define and execute negotiation strategies with suppliers in collaboration with Global Procurement counterparts.
,
• Act as a subject matter expert on contract terms and financials for key suppliers.

Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in global procurement, third party management, and Information Technology, with a focus on telecommunications.
,
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
,
• Subject matter expertise in IT network infrastructure and telecommunications services.
,
• Strong financial acumen and competence with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
,
• Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, SLAs, and Statements of Work.
,
• Ability to measure and improve supplier operational performance.
,
• Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations regarding PHI/PII and security frameworks.

Nice-to-haves
• Familiarity with Source to Pay and Risk Management tools such as Ariba, Tableau, and ICertis.
