Thermal Engineer
DCA is a fast-growing progressive consumer products engineering and manufacturing company located in Cupertino, CA. They are seeking a Thermal Engineer to focus on thermal components and modules design, simulation, and manufacturing, emphasizing thermodynamics and heat transfer principles. Responsibilities Design, simulate, and manufacture thermal components and modules using thermal solutions such as vapor chambers and heat pipes Conduct root cause analysis, failure analysis, and data analysis related to part tolerances and assembly processes Communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, sales teams, customers, and executives Skills BSME or related degree 1-4 years of professional employment as a Thermal Engineer in automated high-volume manufacturing and assembly processes Excellent experience and understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer principles Design of thermal systems, components, and performance of multi-phase thermal simulations Strong root causes analysis, failure analysis and data analysis and correlation studies related to part tolerances, assembly process, and product performance Proficiency with thermal simulation software such as Comsol, Fluent, Icepak and other analysis tools Ability to do 10-20% international travel US Citizens, US Green Card, or current H1-b visa holders Currently live in the Silicon Valley area Ability to commute to Sunnyvale, CA 94087 CFD or FEA software: 1 year Vapor chambers and heat pipes: 1 year Technical interface with factory engineering/manufacturing: 1 year Technical interface with stakeholders and customers: 1 year Consumer Products manufacturing/engineering: 1 year Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Company Overview Met bijna 50 jaar ervaring in de bouwwereld, heeft DCA een solide reputatie opgebouwd als gewaardeerde partner voor bouw-en infrastructuurwerken.
