Responsibilities
Utilizing loan officer experience, the Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for underwriting, loan origination, processing, and providing exceptional customer service. Tasks include analyzing financial information, assisting clients with loan applications, ensuring compliance with TILA and Fair Housing regulations, and conducting credit analysis. Additionally, the role involves negotiating terms, managing mortgage servicing, and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate successful loan transactions. Proficiency in financial sales, FNMA guidelines, and mortgage software is essential for executing these responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or successful completion of the NMLS exam
- Proficiency in underwriting, loan origination, TILA, and credit analysis
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle loan processing efficiently
- Knowledge of financial services, accounting software, and basic math
- Familiarity with financial sales, negotiation, and mortgage servicing
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and experience in financial sales
