Test Manager QA Transformation & TCoE Leadership (Java, Microservices, REST Assured, Docker)
Summary: We are looking for an accomplished Test Manager with 10 15+ years of experience in driving enterprise-level QA transformation and process excellence. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing initiatives across Agile environments, establish a scalable Test Center of Excellence (TCoE), and oversee multi-vendor QA delivery. This role demands hands-on expertise in Java-based automation, API testing using REST Assured, and microservices validation within Dockerized and CI/CD-enabled ecosystems. You will be responsible for defining QA strategies, implementing best-in-class frameworks, ensuring governance and KPI compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of modern engineering practices are essential for success in this role. Experience: 15 to 20 +Years About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in QA transformation, process improvement, and driving enterprise-wide testing excellence. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of modern engineering stacks including Java, Microservices, Docker, and REST Assured for API Testing. This role requires leading multi-vendor delivery models, establishing governance, and setting up a scalable Test Center of Excellence (TCoE). Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end Test Management across Agile delivery teams. Establish QA processes, frameworks, and governance models for continuous improvement. Define and implement TCoE standards including test strategy, tools, automation, metrics, and reporting. Lead multi-vendor QA delivery and drive accountability, quality alignment, and KPI adherence. Ensure automation is integrated early via Shift-Left practices, including CI/CD enablement. Oversee API automation using REST Assured, test frameworks built on Java, and microservices-based validation. Champion containerization in testing with Docker-based test environments. Define & track Quality KPIs (DRE, coverage %, automation %, defect leakage, etc.). Manage test planning, estimation, environment readiness, data management, and risk mitigation. Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Product, and PMO for release quality assurance. Drive defect triage, RCA, and governance with customer stakeholders. Provide leadership, mentoring, and upskilling QA team members. Ensure compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements where applicable. Required Skills & Expertise: 10+ years in Quality Engineering with minimum 4 6 years in Test Management roles. Strong understanding of Web, Microservices, API testing methodologies. Practical experience with Java automation frameworks, REST Assured, and Postman. Experience working with Docker, test containers, and cloud-based environments. Proven experience handling multi-vendor delivery landscape and customer governance. Deep knowledge of testing processes, maturity assessments, and process re-engineering. Experience defining and executing a TCoE roadmap (capabilities, tooling, communication, value realization). Solid background in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD toolchain.
