Territory Manager - Sales

Description As a member of the TEAM Software Solutions Team, the primary objective of this role is to sell technology and services to new jails, as well as renew and upgrade services with existing partners. The candidate will primarily focus on their assigned territory determined by the sales leadership. However, they may also be required to assist with national and regional conferences as necessary. The position is remote and requires strong tasks and time management skills. Occasional visits to other company sites, including headquarters, will be required. The position is an estimated 60% of time spent on travel. The candidate will develop proficiency in using TEAM software, Salesforce CRM, and Microsoft Teams, along with possessing advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite. They will engage with current and potential partners through meetings, calls, emails, and other means to understand their needs, create strategies, and provide solutions to enhance revenue growth and retention. Additionally, the candidate will familiarize themselves with industry competitors and effectively compare our advantages when assessing the facility's current and future needs in areas such as commissary, telephone, communications, technology, and food services. The candidate must take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial contact to demonstrations and eventually signed contracts, the candidate will collaborate closely with their sales colleagues and leadership to strategize, generate leads, and achieve goals that contribute to overall revenue growth for the company . Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Meet with current and prospective partners to procure new sales and services through determination of immediate and future needs of the partner. Effectively use Salesforce CRM to document, track, and disseminate information about partners, prospects, contracts, opportunities, contacts, and communications. Ability to work with current and prospective partners to develop a full understanding of facility needs and wants, challenges and unique situations prior to demonstrations and proposals. Solicit and schedule demonstrations for TEAM Software, commissary and communication services, Continue following up, on a regular basis, with current and prospective partners using Salesforce CRM email system, opportunity updates, and calls/events. Effective communication with Sales Team and consultation with leadership outlining strategy and travel plans. Develop strong communication channels with our marketing team to ensure the success of our trade shows and direct marketing to current and potential customers. Regular travel to visit prospective and/or current partners, attend vendor shows and complete demonstrations. Complete other sales related assignments and projects assigned by leadership. Minimum Qualification Background in sales or equivalent corrections technology experience preferred. Able to work independently, yet effectively, across multiple teams and layers of employees in the organization. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to proactively receive constructive feedback from leaders and teammates.
