Job LocationUS-IN-RemoteJob DescriptionOverviewThe Territory Manager is responsible for growing Trek, Electra, and Bontrager sales by serving as a trusted business partner to retailers within the territory. This role requires a confident, consultative sales professional who can influence retailer decision-making, strengthen partnerships, and drive long-term growth.You will work closely with Trek and Electra retailers to increase market share, elevate product representation, and execute the Trek Retailer Sales Program. Success in this role comes from strong sales presence, business acumen, and the ability to lead productive, insight-driven conversations with retailers.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in front of customers, enjoys coaching and consulting rather than transactional selling, and wants to make a meaningful impact representing an industry-leading brand.Due to logistics, applicants must be located between Indianapolis, IN and Cincinnati, OH.What You’ll DoOwn and grow territory sales for Trek, Electra Bicycles, and Bontrager AccessoriesSet sales objectives and manage forecasting, ordering, prospecting, and pipeline activityAnalyze dealer performance and implement strategies to improve sell-through, assortment, and profitabilityServe as a business consultant to retailers, making recommendations on merchandising, inventory, staffing, and Continuous Improvement initiativesAppoint, develop, and support retail partners to maximize Trek’s market positionBuild long-term, trust-based relationships through regular in-person visitsDeliver product knowledge and sales training to retailer teamsEnsure brand standards are met for product presentation and in-store experienceIdentify, prospect, and onboard new retail partners to expand market coverage and grow distributionMonitor competitive activity and local market trendsRepresent Trek at retailer events, demos, and market activationsProvide exceptional customer service and consistently embody the Trek brandWhat You’ll Bring3+ years of sales experience, ideally in a consultative, relationship-driven environmentProven ability to influence, negotiate, and lead sales conversations with confidenceStrong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skillsOrganized, self-motivated, and effective at follow-up and territory planningCycling industry experience preferredComfort with CRM systems and sales toolsBonus: Working knowledge of Ascend POSBonus: Familiarity with the territory and local marketsWillingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel and visits to Trek HQ in WisconsinTrek Benefits:• Flexible and fun company culture• Competitive health care• PPO & HDHP medical plan options, Dental insurance, Vision insurance• Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)• Free life insurance & optional term life insurance• Competitive vacation package• 401(k) with match and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP)• 12 weeks of maternity leave with 100% pay• Flexible holiday schedule – 10 company holidays• Tuition Reimbursement up to $15,000!
