This is a temporary assignment and will report in to the Creative Director. This position is a hybrid role and requires three days a week in our Jersey City office.ResponsibilitiesCreate 5-15 quick-turn videos daily within existing Forbes video formats utilizing Wochit (browser-based cloud video editor) and/or the Adobe Creative Suite.Coordinate with project producers, gathering scripts, assets, and recording voiceovers as needed under the direction and per specifications of supervising ProducerSound mixing on all owned editsColor correction on all owned edits per specifications of the Creative Director of VideoDeliver and/or upload final video assets as directed by supervising ProducerMaintain quality, style and aesthetic standards as directed by EP, Video and Creative Director of VideoInnovate and experiment on new editing techniques to enhance quality and style of Forbes VideoUpdate and place motion graphics packagesMaintain journalistic and brand standards set by Forbes Media in all contentAbide by all media management standards as directed by EP, VideoThe ideal candidate1+ years of experience in video production in digital publishing, production company or agency/brand settingLighting fast video editorBe a strategic thinker who can balance multiple projects at once and understand what to prioritize and how to disseminate a storyHave strong editorial judgement with a keen understanding of news, politics, business and pop cultureWorking knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite (with a focus on Premiere Pro and Photoshop)Ability to collaborate with all project stakeholdersAbility to conceive and execute a clear creative and narrative visionWillingness to take constructive critiques and reach consensus on team-based projectsVoiceover talent a big plusThe hourly rate for this role is $30.00 - $30.00Forbes has estimated the compensation range set forth above in good faith.
